Basic Frosting Recipe
       (1)    Pound powdered sugar
      (4)   Tbsp all purpoose flour
(1)    Cup Crisco
  (4)    Tbsp Heavy Cream
    (2)    Tsp Vanilla Extract
               Mix above at high speed for 5 minutes,
                Add 2 egg whites and beat 5 minutes more.
 
               Optional Toppings:
          Coconut
              Shaved Chocolate
                Chopped Pecans

MEMAW'S BISCUITS
(3) cups Self Rising Flour
(2) TBSP Baking Powder
(1) Tsp.Baking Soda
(4) TBSP Butter
(1-1/2) Cups Milk
Mix Ingredients
Knead on Floured Board to 1/2" thick
Cut into 18 Biscuits
Place in pan w 1/4" oil in bottom
Turn biscuits over twice in oil before baking.
Put in 400 preheated oven for 5 minutes
then cook @ 450 until brown.
SUSU'S SUMMER-LITE ANGEL CAKE

  • 1 Sugar Free Vanilla Pudding Mix
  • 1 20oz can crushed pineapple-undrained
  • 1 cup thawed lite cool whip
  • 1 store bought angel food cake
  • Fresh Strawberrys, Blueberrys, Rasberrys
  •  
  • Prepare pudding mix as directed on box
  • Add can crushed pineapple
  • Add cool whip & mix.
  • Cut cake in three layers
  • Put 1/3 of mixture between layers & on top
  • Decorate with seasonal berries.
  • Refrigerate til Serving.
 

REGINA'S SHRIMP & PENNE PASTA WITH WHITE SHERRY SAUCE
2 CUPS MEDIUMN SHRIMP(COOKED)
1 CUP CHOPPED SWEET ONIONS
1 CUP CHOPPED RED BELL PEPPER
4 CUPS SLICED MUSHROOMS
1/2 CUP FAT FREE CHICKEN BROTH
12 OZ WHOLE WHEAT PENNE PASTA
1/2 CAN 98% FAT FREE CREAM OF CHICKEN SOUP
1/4 CUP FAT FREE HALF&HALF
1/2 CUP WATER
1/2 PKG KNOR'S GARLIC HERB MIX
1/4 CUP MEDIUM DRY SHERRY
Cook Penne Pasta per package directions. While pasta is cooking, saute onions,peppers and mushrooms in chicken broth. Add sherry close to end of cooking process. In large mixing bowl whisk together soup, half&half, water and garlic herb mix and pour over vegetables. Drain pasta and add to vegetable mixture. Heat thoroughly. Add shrimp 5 minutes before serving. Add salt and pepper to taste. 4 Servings.
